A
shoe is not only a design, but it's a part of your body language, the
way you walk. The way you're going to move is quite dictated by your
shoes.
The
prevailing - and foolish - attitude is that a good manager can be a
good manager anywhere, with no special knowledge of the production
process he's managing. A man with a financial background may know
nothing about manufacturing shoes or cars, but he's put in charge
anyway.
It
is so much easier to be nice, to be respectful, to put yourself in your
customers' shoes and try to understand how you might help them before
they ask for help, than it is to try to mend a broken customer
relationship.
